Latest buy: Asos-summer musthaves

I've finally found some of the things I felt I needed for the summer. I've been haunting for a spring/summer jacket and a pair of fasionable sandals. Especially finding a pair sandals has been hard since I'm a high heels-kind of girl. But now I found a pair... and with the 20 % discount I had for asos then I thought it was time to buy both things (and some of my favorite nail polish to for myself and a girlfriend). Get the discount code here

I think that the sandals are very Balmain-ish and I love them. What do you think of my latest buys? Have you started thinking about your spring/summer wardrobe yet?

Oh I love discount codes - they're both lovely and very dangerous at the same time. You can get 20% off on asos.com right now if you enter "asoslook" in the discount code space before you pay. I just bought some things that I "needed" anyway.

So - asoslook gives you 20% off right now. I wasn't able to find out for how long it last so hurry up and use it!

Happy shopping!

It requires that you have a blogspot-profile (you don't have to have a blog, just a profile). It would just be nice for me to see how many people are coming by here frequently.

Outfit of the day # 23

I'm so baaaad.... I just did some "cleaning" of my phone and found this picture/outfit that I forgot to post here. It's from the first weekend in february and this was my outfit for the semester-start party at my new school. Sorry for the shitty quality, but my camera ran out of batt so I had to take the photo with my phone. I promiss I'll take a better picture next time I have this dress on.

I'm wearing:

Black lace dress from asos.com
Black tights from H&M
Black gladiator heels from Primark
Silver ring, gift from Mr. Boyfriend
Dark purple nail polish from H&M, colour: Bad Temper

Good news: Multimedia designer as a bachelors degree

Happy-me

YEAH! Finally!!!!

Normally the education as a multimedia designer takes 2 years, but now it has been accepted as a bachelors degree. I'm really thrilled! Of course that means that it will take longer (3 ½ years), but I don't care... I want the bachelors degree. And it's going to be available in Odense - it couldn't be more perfect!

I'm happy.

Outfit of the day # 22

I've been so lazy lately - vacations do that to me! But now I'm sick and very bored so I thought I would try to get up to date with posting all these "Outfit of the day" that I forgot to post.

This one is from thursday - went to a "Winter Sucks-party" with all the MMDs (multimedia designers). Point of fashion: Wanted to feel girly in a dress, but tried to make it more casual and laid back with the cardigan and the flats (and a good thing that I went with flats that night - we danced a LOT!).
And FYI: I'm selling that cardigan again... it so doesn't look good on me!

What I'm wearing:
Black babydoll dress from H&M
Black tights from H&M
Leo cardigan, unknown/found on Ebay UK
Leo flats from Primark
Bracelet from asos.com
Yellow-ish pearl earrings, found on trendsales.dk
Nail polish from Barry M, colour: Rich grey
Silver ring, gift from Mr. Boyfriend

The Oscars 2009: Best & Worst dressed

Here's my favorites and the ones I hated from the Oscar show last night. The ones that are not mentioned were just not THAT amazing or that horrible. Maybe just plain boring.

Do you agree with my choices? Which ones did you love and hate?

BEST DRESSED:

Sarah Jessica Parker in Christian Dior Haute Couture

Amazing dress! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Yeah, her boobs is a bit too pushed up, but I still love the whole outfit. A+ !!! Jessica is SO out of her husbands, Matthew Broderick, leauge. I hope he knows that!

Natalie Portman in Rodarte

I love this colour on Natalie Portman! And I loved that she chose such a strong colour. A real princess.

Jennifer Anistion in Valentino

Jennifer looked AMAZING! Sometimes she tends to be a bit boring and she wears black a lot, but not last night and it really was the right choice of dress for her. Jennifer brought her boyfriend singer John Mayer as her date.

Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham arrived to one of the many Oscar afterparties in a dress from her own collection, Victoria Beckham. She looked sophisticated and classy, loved it!

Miley Cyrus in Zuhair Murad

I have to admit that this was a hard one; I HATE Miley Cyrus, but I absolutely love Zuhair Murad. But I still had to put her on my best dressed list because that dress is a princess worthy. I love it!

Meryl Streep in Alberta Ferretti

Meryl looked fantastic. It's not that the dress is that great, but it fits her, her style and she looks amazing when you think of how old that woman is. Thumbs up, Meryl!

Frida Pinto in John Galliano

Frida chose a great dress that complimented her skintone and her hair beautifully! And I liked the one-shoulder sleeve detail.

Tilda Swinton in Lanvin

Tilda Swinton is a funny type. She's not a girly-girl like a lot of the other female Hollywood-stars are. I would never personally wear this outfit to the Oscars, but I love that Tilda is true to herself and don't give into the presure but insted shows up in something that's very much her. And the two-piece outfit is very sophisticated!

WORST DRESSED:

Jessica Biel in Prada

Oh my god... can Jessica Biel get anymore boring? I always boreds me SO MUCH. This dress has a boring lenght, boring colour, weird and too big detail and Jessicas hair is too freaking casual for the Oscars. Jesus....

Beyonce in House of Dereon Couture

If any of you are thinking: "House Dereon Couture? What th f*** is that for a brand?" then you're not alone. I did some research I found out that it's her mom, Tina Knowles, own brand (of course!). This dress is just SO Beyonce in all the wrong ways. It's sreams of her lack of taste and I did actually think that she would pool off the red carpet for the Oscars better than this.

Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab

zzzZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz....... (It would be so cool if I was able to restrain myself and only write this... but I can't). I'm getting so sick of Angelina. She's SO boring in her style choices. It's always a strapless dark-coloured dress and not so much jewellery. Do something crazy Angelina!! (And having more babies doesn't count - even though it is crazy.)

Heidi Klum in Roland Mouret

It's not that Heidi Klum looks bad, but it's just such a deja vú compared to her dress from the Oscars last year. I don't like the length of the dress or her hair either.

Sharon Stone in Christian Dior

Hello, Sharon Stones boobies!! Could you look more desperate than this? (no)

Madonna in Christian Dior

Why is that all the "older" stars feel the need to wear these semi-slutty-seethrough dresses to the Oscars? Maybe they're affraid that they would be overlooked because of the young, beautiful and sexy stars if they don't show a lot of flesh. Well, it's nasty and desperate and you're over 50 years old Madonna - would you die if you had to wear an extra skirt under that dress?

Pictures are borrowed from oscars.com and redcarpetawards.com

Heidi Klum: Oscar deja vú?

Left: Heidi at the Oscars 2008 in a red dress by John Galliano
Right: Heidi at the Oscars 2009 in a red dress by Roland Mouret

Was I the only one that felt the deja vú last night when I saw Heidi Klums Oscar dress? It looks a lot like the red John Galliano dress she wore at the Oscars 2008. I know it's not the same dress but the similarity is stricking! This year she wore a red dress by Roland Mouret - it even looks like the two dresses were made of the same fabric!

I hope Heidi will wear something else than a red dress next year... did you feel the deja vú when you saw Heidi?

Most beautiful Oscar dress: Sarah Jessica Parker in Dior

For there's no doubt - this is THE most amazing dress at the Oscars this year. Sarah Jessica was wearing a mint fairytale-gown which was a Christian Dior Haute Couture. I was in love as soon as I saw it! It does scoob-up her boobs a lot, but I still love it. I like the colour, the bling-bling and the belt. Sarah J looked amazing! (Don't cheat on her again Mr. Broderick!)

I'll be posting a blog later today on all the other dresses from the festive night, but now I need to see the rest of the show and then get some sleep.

What do you think of Sarah Jessicas dress?

Gina Tricot webshop

This week the Gina Tricot webshow FINALLY opened! I have really been looking forward to this since we don't have Gina Tricot here in Odense. But I have to say I was pretty disappointed about the selection online. I think I've seen a lot of great stuff that girlfriends of mine have found in Gina Tricot, but I think a lot of the things on the webshop looks cheap (even cheaper than they actually are) and the pictures are horrible. I hate the overview of the things - why can we only see half a dress? It's pretty annoying that we have to click on every single dress to see the full dress. When that is said then I'm just gonna show you a couple of the things I found interesting, but not interesting enough to buy... yet.

I was actually gonna buy a long sweater/dress but when I came back to the page then it was gone. If any of you have a picture of it then I would be greatful because then I can try and search for it at sites as trendsales.dk. It was knitted, white and black (white at the top and black at the bottom) - the black was "going up" as triangles. And I think the price was something like 299 DKK. Thanks!

Here's my favorites and you can go a find your own favorites at the webshop here (if you're not from Denmark then you have to change country before shopping).

Denim-look leggings with zippers - 159 DKK

Grey jersey dress - 129 DKK

Long sweater with sequin shoulders - 299 DKK

Denim-look jersey skirt with zipper - 159 DKK

Tan purse with studds - 129 DKK

Miss Jeanett vs Lady Gaga

A lot of you have probably noticed my Lady Gaga-obsession (if not - are you blind??). And apparently my obsession doesn't go away when I'm drunk - it gets worse! (Just ask my friends how many times I put "Just Dance" and "Pokerface" on during a party).

Well, now there's proof of my obsession. This picture was taken saturday at a Valentinesdayparty. I'm drunk and dancing to "Just Dance". And the picture under is of Lady Gaga herself.

Jeans from asos.com
Grey cardigan with big buttons from H&M

2 new Lady Gaga musicvideos...

... one for her next single down under (Australia) and one for the US and Europe. Don't know why she chose two different songs - she must think that US/Europe and Australia has different taste in music.

The first one "Love Game" is the next single for US/Europe. It's easy to see that she was inspired by Michael Jacksons video for "Bad". I love the fact that she dances more in this video! And I still love her weird outfits! This is also my favorite song out of these two singles.

The second one "Eh Eh (Nothing else I can say)" is her new single in Australia. This one is more fun and sweet - very 50s/60s styled video. It's fun to see a more sweet Gaga than the maneating-kind we're used to. But I still love bitchy/bad-Gaga more.

What do you think about her new videos? Which one do you like more? And which song do you like the most?

Outfit of the day # 20

This is my outfit from last night. Went to a Valentinesday party!

Point of fashion: I didn't know what to wear until the last minute - you never go wrong with the LBD! (little black dress). I paired it up with black tights and leopard flats. Mostly because I knew I was bartending all night so a pair of high heels would have been feet-murder!

Remember that you're more than welcome to leave comments! How did you spent Valentinesday?

Black one shoulder dress from asos.com
Black tights from H&M
Black earrings from H&M
Silver ring, gift from Mr. Boyfriend
Nail polish from Barry M, colour "Redwine"
Leopard flats from Primark

You can still get the dress at asos.com - it's even on sale right now! You can get it in black and purple - and it's also available in a shorter version than mine. You can get it here

Amazing live version of "Pokerface" by Miss Gaga

YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS! I was STUNNED when I saw it. Oh my god I love her voice. People that have said she can't really sing - please eat yours words again! I also LOVE this version of "Poker face" - I wish it was on her album. It was a performance she did for The Cherry Tree Records.

Quote of the day - Lady Gaga # 2

“I want a good fuck and some carbohydrates. Good spaghetti and good sex.”

Lady Gaga, on what she wants for Valentinesday

Scarlett Johansson for Dolce & Gabbana

I've always liked Scarlett Johansson. She has a beautiful body: she's not like a lot of the other hollywood celebrities that are getting skinnier and skinnier. She still has the body of a WOMAN. A she looks gorgeous in these ads for Dolce & Gabbana eyeshadow and foundation. I love the way the styled her very Marilyn Monroe-ish.

What do you think of her Dolce & Gabbana campaign?

Pre-view of Kate Moss for Topshop spring 09

Finally! I've been a big fan of a lot of the other lines that Kate Moss made for Topshop so I was really looking forward to the new spring line. I'm a bit disappointed so far and I'm hoping that more pictures and more interesting pieces will come. There's no piece I just "must have"... maybe the underwear or the flower printed denim strapless dress... but I'm still waiting to see some prices - sometimes Topshop set their Kate Moss-items a bit high and I'm not sure if I want to pay what they're asking for it. I do also like the gold sequin dress but I think it's the wrong season to release it - it would have been perfect as a christmas/new years dress, but I don't think I would use it during the summer.

What do you think so far? Are there anything you're gonna buy?

Here's my favorites so far - the pieces I found to be most interesting:
